Sparkling Spirits Wrap-Up!



After a day of filling the sky with bright colours of kites all shapes and sizes, the last of the kites have finally come down as the remaining festival decorations are packed away; despite the brilliant display soon the oppressive grey of winter will return yet again, yet as you wait for the results of the competition you see sators around you have begun taking their bright kite ribbons and are tying them around tree branches and various structures or even gently tying them around the necks of some of the stray sprouts, a splash of colour in defiance of the cold, a reminder that small acts of resistance, even if they only affect a few, are still acts of resistance nonetheless that make a difference to those individuals. There will still be a long, cold winter ahead, but perhaps it doesn't have to be so lonely, or so bleak; the winds may be fierce, but in so being they give each individual or even a whole community the opportunity to stand boldly against the harshest gales and throw their own colours into the winds, to be lifted up and uplift others. On that note, it seems at last it's time for the competition winners to be announced--!

The competition threads will remain open until the 31st, so make sure to request your prizes before rollover to the 1st!





Event Shop Reminder

As stated in the Event End newspost thread, as of 18/1 all points, prizes, and stickers for the event have been awarded! Please make sure to double check that you've spent all your points as listed in the point sheet!

The Soaring Skies Shop will be closing upon rollover to January 25th, so make sure to spend those points before then!
Any point balance remaining by then will be converted into mod tickets at a 1:1 ratio.

If you hosted the thread for any games and have not yet claimed any prizes, just a reminder that game hosts can claim their choice of either 2 free items from the High Tier or 4 free items from the Mid Tier of the event shop!

To claim your free picks, please post in the Soaring Skies Shop clearly stating what you want and that you are using your free pick as a Game Host. These picks do not cost the user any points, and they are independent of the tier limits.
